DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE

Taking your design through to production requires the part to undergo the ‘Design for Manufacture’ review process.

From initial concept and working design to final manufacture design approval, we’ll work with you to ensure your 2D and 3D CAD designs are tailored to enhance your bespoke manufacturable product. 

From here you can create working prototypes before proceeding to the tooling phase.

PROTOTYPING

This recommended part of the process involves creating a working prototype to ensure the product meets design intent before proceeding to the tooling phase.

At MGS Technical Plastics, we use 3D scanning to enable us to reverse engineer and rapid prototype your component, enabling you to fully test and revise the part to ensure concept realisation prior to investing in tooling.
